Enjoy a seamless start to your adventure with two nights in Barcelona, including a welcome supper, a relaxed day to settle in, and a guided tour of the city the following morning. On the 10th, the group will transfer from the hotel directly to the port to board your Virgin Voyages ship.

We set sail and settle into 12 nights of modern cruising, sailing from Barcelona to Rome in a stylish Sea Terrace Cabin. Your onboard experience includes all dining across Virgin’s signature eateries, Wi-Fi, entertainment, fitness classes, gratuities, essential beverages, plus port fees and government taxes — all taken care of.

Throughout the trip, you’ll also take part in four dedicated writing workshops, giving you structured sessions to develop ideas, gather inspiration, and hone your craft while travelling through the Mediterranean.

You may wish to switch to an elevated cabin category — such as a Sea View or one of Virgin Voyages’ signature Rockstar Quarters — for the added space and luxury touches.

If you're travelling from the USA, flight packages can also be arranged, making your travel plans simpler and fully coordinated. And for those hoping to extend the magic a little longer, additional nights in Rome can be added at the end of the cruise, giving you more time to explore the city at your own pace.
